www - you’ve produced a satisfactory magazine front cover which demonstrates good knowledge and understanding of media language through your choice of costume, non-verbal codes such as the pose of your main cover model and the colour scheme choice. These combinations of elements would be of some interest to your intended sports fans. I think your choice of cover lines are clever as you’ve made them link to the era in which this magazine would have been released so well done for identifying that.

EBI: I think the biggest thing is ensuring that you use one or two of the same typographic font styles currently you have six different ones which would be unconventional for an established magazine brand. Secondly, the positioning of some cover lines are not symmetrical and are lopsided which does not demonstrate a professional finish, it’s important to keep checking over your production work to notice things like this.

3) Consider your mark against the mark scheme above. What are the strengths of your production based on the the mark scheme? Think about magazine cover conventions and the media language techniques you have used to communicate with your audience (e.g. mise-en-scene, camera shot etc.) Notice the focus on narrative in the mark scheme for Media language.
